There has been a very slight downward trend of the Euro. Some 1.8% against the U.S. dollar.
And guess what, 1.8% is exactly the net contribution to the Eurozone PIB.
So it looks like it will stay stable. Other weak economies which adopted a strong currency as their own (in this case the USD) Ecuador, Panama, Salvador never got out of it and are unlikely to do so.
I see the same thing happening with Greece.
We cannot accept however default on their debt payment. This is our money and taxes.
Not too sure what to do about it as an individual. For sure no holidays there to start with.
