Bad news from the South Atlantic

Yves le Blevec capsized just after passing the Cape Horn early this morning. There was a strong 30 to 50 knots wind with burns up to 70 knots. One of the arms on the port side broke.

Apparently he is secure inside the boat and rescue is being organised.

He had a 2.600 nautical miles lead on the previous record holder after 19 days and 10 hours.
