Following the recent floods, we have been quite busy in the past 2 weeks collecting donations and distributing them where they are needed in town and around the villages which were hit a lot.
Today was a bit special. We received a lorry load from the Rotary Club in Angoulême. The lorry arrived around 10am and we certainly were not expecting such a full load. Many boxes with clothing, kitchen utensils, food and all sorts of furniture.
We did unload it all and packed it into our friend’s warehouse.
Next step will be to divide it all into small loads before we deliver it with our cars / vans. We get the info where it is needed from the local mayors and different associations and people contacting us directly.
Hopefully we have managed to convince the local radio stations to advertise the fact that we have goods available.
Next truck to be unloaded is on Friday 2nd of November
Volunteers are more than welcome
