36 hours in Pau

Our friends C&J from the UK were visiting us in Carcassonne last week. They had planned after that to go to Pamplona in Spain via Pau before heading to Biarritz to take a flight home.

We decided we would accompany them to Pau saving them a couple of days of car hire in the process.

It is only a short 3 hours drive on the motorway so departing as planned at 9am, we arrived in time for a well deserved lunch.

Short walk in the afternoon to discover the town centre.
