My student card from Villanova University in Pennsylvania. It brings back a lot of memories and I have lost touch with all the people I met over there at the time. Note that my name is “Jacques” and not “Jean Jacques”. Jean as a name is not something the Americans could cope with, Jean being a woman’s name. I had once a real issue trying to get money out of my local bank account when the cashier insisted I possibly could not be Miss Jean Sauvaget. From that day onwards my name changed to JJ.

It’s like the French who always want to call me Siegfried…being a man’s name!
