Yesterday was the final game of the Rugby World Cup taking place in Japan. South Africa did beat England fairly easily, which was a surprise, and thus becoming world champion for the 3rd time. It has been a good few weeks of competition and I saw quite a few of the games on TV. Many bars had set up a TV and were showing the games early in the morning due to the time difference with Japan. My friend Seb owner of “Seb des Halles” was no exception. We were there for 10am on Saturday and met up a few friends. I did not bother with breakfast, only a coffee for me followed by a few glasses of white wine. I must say that the atmosphere was good and many shoppers stopped by.

It turned out to be a brilliant day. The sun was out so we all ended up across the street , as we do practically every Saturday, out side Café Saillan for a couple of drinks and snack for some.
Popular as always are the oysters

No room left on the tables so one has to improvise.
