Tour de France in October

We went from Germany to Strasbourg for our 1st overnight from there we went to Lyon, Chamonix, Grenoble, Cavalaire, Monaco, Bandol, Marseille, Nimes, Bordeaux, St Emilion, St Malo, Paris, Versailles before heading back to Germany. Plenty of stops between all these towns, many friends visited en route.

When in Chamonix, it is a must to go up the Aiguille du Midi. We had to buy coats in town before going in the cable car, the highest in Europe, to take us to the top at 3.842m.
