Just came back from the scheduled few days in the mountains. Four of us went to Les Angles in the Pyrenees. It is a mere 100kms+ from home and easily reachable. A lot of snow fell a couple of weeks ago so we had to postponne the trip by one week. We arrived and were greated by a suberb blue sky and perfect skiing conditions.
The slopes are very well maintained and being during the week hardly frequented since there is no school holiday at the time of year.
The restaurant at the top became quickly our favorite meeting spot for a few glasses of wine and a bite.

Some did ski a lot, some took it easy.

We were extremely disappointed with one restaurant despite the fact we had been given recommendations by a few friends and namely “Chez Antoine” must be avoided unless you enjoy rude and inneficient staff. On the other hand, I strongly recommend the restaurant “La Grange” and in particular on a Thursday which is couscous day and is delicious. Reservations are a must.
Holidays are fun
