Had a fairly long and quite peaceful night sleep. I must have needed it. Not too sure what time I got up because my connected watch was showing the time with an hour’s difference compared to the TV. Quick breakfast and out on the street.
After a couple of kilometres searching for a place and basically getting lost, I realised that northern direction I was heading towards what in fact south. Quick turnaround and a few kilometres further the target was in view. The plan was to go through the old Medina.

Hard work followed by a welcomed sit down and a drink of mint tea

Quite sweet but I love it
Took the hop on / hop off bus to get back to the hotel

Enough walking for today
For a nice lunch by the pool

All this followed, as usually done, by a quiet time on a lounger by the pool and a nap back in the room. Sleep did evade me though.

So an early apéritif was in order. I found out on the web that this wine bar called “68” had a few good reviews and was just in the back street of our hotel. There was no choice but to try it out.
The wine selection was quite impressive but we were the only customers, too early maybe. So I only had 2 glasses of a pleasant 1974 Chablis.

68 Bar à vin
Too early to retire so went back to last night’s joint “Le Grand Café de la Poste” for a second apéritif and some snacks.
