Holiday plan 2021

Obviously just ideas at this time but it is never too early to start planning. A good plan belongs to the holiday itself. Once again without any idea of timing here are the first thoughts:

  • Philadelphia. Although I have absolutely no desire to go back to the USA mainly due to the current political climate which I do not think will change very soon, I feel it is Screenshot 2020-03-05 at 19.49.39.pngthe only way I shall be able to visit old friends who live there and whom I have known for a number of decades. Time flies by too quickly. I also have some new friends who have bought a property in Carcassonne where I live in France who spend, for the time being, some months every year in their brand new house in Philly. It could also be the starting point for a trip to Canada. I have not been to Quebec for many years and would like to spend some time there.

  • Montreal and Quebec. As mentioned above, this could and should possibly be Screenshot 2020-03-05 at 19.57.08.pngcombined with a visit to Philly. No need to do 2 round trips across the north Atlantic. One should try to minimize one’s carbon print. Furthermore Canadian Airlines is starting a service in the coming months from Toulouse (my nearest international airport) and Montreal. I might even have air miles left on my Star Alliance account to subsidise part of the tickets’s costs.

  • Kerala, South India. I have already posted a short while ago the possible desire to visit South India.
