Les élections municipales sont pour bientôt. J’ai étudié attentivement les projets disponibles des différents candidats. Quand je parle de projets, je suis très magnanime dans certains cas.
Par exemple, sur les documents de Marie-Hélène Régnier et de son parti “Unis pour Carcassonne”, on pourrait croire qu’il s’agit d’un copier-coller de certains des projets proposés par l’équipe “Pour Carcassonne” de Gérard Larrat. Il y a cependant une grande différence, Mme Régnier et son équipe admettent que la plupart de leurs propositions nécessitent une étude de faisabilité et je crains que son équipe, à quelques exceptions notables près, ne soit pas à la hauteur. D’autre part, la plupart des membres de l’équipe de M. Larrat sont compétents et ont prouvé au cours des cinq dernières années ce qu’ils peuvent réaliser. Le choix entre les deux est donc clair pour moi. J’aurais aimé comparer et commenter la candidate Mme Christine Pujol mais il n’y a guère de propositions concrètes sur sa documentation. Il est impossible d’avoir un avis.
À mon avis, aucun des autres candidats n’est digne de commentaires. Montrer leur nom ne servirait qu’à leur donner une publicité gratuite, ce que je refuse de faire.
Je dois ajouter que je ne soutiens pas l’idée de l’affiliation à un parti politique pour les élections locales. Ce qu’il faut avant tout, c’est de la compétence, de l’engagement, du savoir-faire financier et des connaissances locales.

The town hall elections are soon upon us. I have been carefully studying the available projects from the different candidates. When I say projects, I am being very magnanimous in some cases.
For example on the documents from Marie-Hélène Régnier and her party “Unis pour Carcassonne”, one would think it is a cut and paste of some of the projects proposed by the team “Pour Carcassonne” de Gérard Larrat. There is a big difference though, Mrs Régnier and team admit that most of their proposals need a feasibility study and I am worried that her team, with some notable exceptions, is not up to the job. On the other hand most of Mr Larrat’s team is capable and has proven over the past 5 years what it can achieve. So the choice between the 2 is clear for me. I would have liked to compare and comment on the candidate Mme Christine Pujol but there is hardly any concrete proposals on her documentation. It is impossible to have an opinion.
In my opinion, none of the other candidates are worthy of comments. Showing their names would only serve to give them free publicity which I refuse to do.
I have to add that I do not support the idea of the affiliation to a political party for local elections. What is needed above all is competence, commitment, financial know-how and local knowledge.

Die Rathauswahlen stehen bald vor der Tür. Ich habe die verfügbaren Projekte der verschiedenen Kandidaten sorgfältig studiert. Wenn ich von Projekten spreche, bin ich in einigen Fällen sehr großmütig.
Zum Beispiel bei den Dokumenten von Marie-Hélène Régnier und ihrer Partei “Unis pour Carcassonne” könnte man meinen, es handele sich um einen Ausschnitt aus einigen der vom Team “Pour Carcassonne” von Gérard Larrat vorgeschlagenen Projekte. Es gibt jedoch einen großen Unterschied, Frau Régnier und das Team geben zu, dass die meisten ihrer Vorschläge eine Durchführbarkeitsstudie benötigen, und ich bin besorgt, dass ihr Team, mit einigen bemerkenswerten Ausnahmen, der Aufgabe nicht gewachsen ist. Auf der anderen Seite ist der Großteil von Herrn Larrat’s Team fähig und hat in den letzten 5 Jahren bewiesen, was es erreichen kann. Die Wahl zwischen den beiden ist also für mich klar. Ich hätte die Kandidatin Frau Christine Pujol gerne verglichen und kommentiert, aber es gibt kaum konkrete Vorschläge zu ihrer Dokumentation. Es ist unmöglich, eine Meinung zu haben.
Meiner Meinung nach ist keiner der anderen Kandidaten eines Kommentars würdig. Die Bekanntgabe ihrer Namen würde nur dazu dienen, sie kostenlos bekannt zu machen.
Ich muss hinzufügen, dass ich die Idee der Zugehörigkeit zu einer politischen Partei für Kommunalwahlen nicht unterstütze. Gefragt sind vor allem Kompetenz, Engagement, finanzielles Know-how und lokale Kenntnisse.

Je voudrais également insister sur un point pour tous. J’ai choisi de m’installer en ville il y a 3 ans. Je suis de plus en plus consciente de l’environnement et je voulais installer des panneaux solaires photovoltaïques pour une énergie propre. On m’a dit très clairement que ce projet ne serait pas autorisé parce que j’habite dans l’ancien “Quartier du Palais”. Cela pourrait me pousser à quitter la ville. Je sais que je ne suis pas le seul dans cette situation et que cela devrait être réglé par les politiques car c’est un vrai problème pour beaucoup.

I also would like to reinforce a point to all. I chose to move in town 3 years ago. I am more and more conscious of the environment and wanted to install photovoltaic solar panels for clean energy. I have been told in no uncertain terms that this project would not be allowed due to the fact that I live in the old “Quartier du Palais”. That might push me out of town. I know I am not the only one in this position and this should be addressed by the politic because it is a real problem for many.

Ich möchte auch einen Punkt an alle bekräftigen. Ich habe mich vor 3 Jahren entschieden, in die Stadt zu ziehen. Ich bin immer umweltbewusster und wollte photovoltaische Sonnenkollektoren für saubere Energie installieren. Man hat mir unmissverständlich gesagt, dass dieses Projekt nicht zulässig sei, weil ich im alten “Quartier du Palais” wohne. Das könnte mich aus der Stadt vertreiben. Ich weiß, dass ich nicht der einzige in dieser Lage bin, und dies sollte von der Politik angesprochen werden, denn es ist für viele ein echtes Problem.
