It certainly would not surprise me if our President Emmanuel Macron declared this evening stage IV to combat the spread of the Covid 19 virus.

He is scheduled to make announcements this evening on TV at 8pm our (French time).

Stage IV would mean lockdown / containment whatever that really entails. I have enough wine in the cellar so I am not really worried.

I suspect part of the announcement will also be the postponement of the 2nd round of the local elections which is due on Sunday.

In the meantime we have cancelled a few holidays and activities which were planned planned for the coming weeks and that is a shame.

I guess Easter will be spent at home
