The cartoonist Albert Uderzo, creator with René Goscinny of the Asterix character, died this Tuesday 24 March at the age of 92. Nothing to do with the Corona Virus.

For those of us who grew up with Asterix & Obelix, this is sad news indeed.

There is however a new cartoonist team who have produced the last couple of albums so there will ensure continuity I hope.

The last album (the 38th) was “La fille de Vercingétorix” and was excellent
