I hope everyone had a good confined weekend. I am glad the sun was shining, it made the rosé taste much better.

I have been looking at the numbers and can only see an increase in the number of cases and hospitalisations and deaths. I started plotting the number of patients admitted per day, as opposed to the total numbers. I guess that on the chart for Occitanie below one could recognise and slight downward trend. So as from now on I shall use this chart as part of the statistics.

►Information: Digital certificate

A device for the digital creation of the overriding travel certificate is now available, in addition to the still valid paper device.

After filling in the information on an online form, a .PDF file is generated with a QR Code containing all the data on the form, as well as the date and time of generation of the document. This file must be presented during the control on a smartphone or tablet.

This service is accessible on any type of mobile device through a browser. It has been designed to be easily usable by people with disabilities.

Furthermore, no personal data is collected. And no file is created.

I have tried it both on my computer and my phone without any difficulties. Not too sure it is that useful since you have to fill up the info about your name / address everytime. I suppose if you are out and had forgotten your certificate (paper or digital) you can always do it on the go.

It has 2 pages, the second page has a larger QR code which presumably is the one you show.

The question is: Do all police have the necessary equipment to read the QR codes? I somehow doubt it.

Just in case, the digital certificate is not valid in the French Polynesian island of Thaiti. Lack of equipment is the excuse.
