Woke up to  yet another grey  day and it looks like it will be like that all weekend. The sun is  not due back before Monday. That’s the bad news. The better bit of news is that the beaches (see map) in the Aude departement are opening as of today. No sunbathing  allowed but it is a step forward. I have posted a copy of the information letter from the prefecture in the news / info section below.

I have decided that most of us suffer from this. The person with this strange phobia, suffers from the fear of seeing empty glasses.

Not surprisingly, I have experienced some slowing down and problems loading up pages in the past couple of days. I just checked my connection speeds and the result is very good.

I then found out that many sites are experiencing problems and in fact currently the following 3. I discovered a site called Downdetector which lists sites in difficulty.
