Souvenirs pre-1963

I have come across some old adverts about a bier which was available in the 50’s. Indeed I remember it being served at school for lunches when I was about 8 yaers old.

The brochure states:

  • For children aged 2 to 5, it is recommended to drink 125ml mixed with water per day
  • For children aged 5 to 10, a quarter of a litre
  • From 15 years old onwards, half a litre
  • As far as adults are concerned one litre a day

Where are those days gone?

We had ‘Malzbier’ in Germany, for the children and even recommended for breastfeeding mothers, as it’s rising the quantity of milk. The only thing is that ‘Malzbier’ doesn’t contain alcohol…! ________________________________ De : I do it my way Envoyé : vendredi 29 mai 2020 11:54 À : siegrid.liminet@hotmail.fr Objet : [New post] Souvenirs pre-1963
