Day 78 – 3rd day of de-confinement phase II

Grey Day
Not very pleasant this morning. I went out first thing to fill up my monthly medecine needs as well as pick up my comic books which had arrived at the bookshop. Far more pleasant going there than wait for an Amazon delivery.
Not too happy to say the least with my new Apple Pencil which has basically stopped working after 24 hours. It simply does not connect to the IPad’s bluetooth more than a few seconds. Going through forums, I see that I am not the only one with that problem. I have tried all suggestions to fix it to no avail. Now I have to find a way to get a replacement. Easier said than done. That will be one of my tasks for this afternoon.

Information, news and tips

Service Technique. I went to book my car in this morning and there is quite a long waiting list. They obviously have a lot of catching up to do. So if you need to have done for your car, I recommend you book early. It is not all bad news because the government has announced that the deadlines have been extended. This decision only applies to technical inspections that expire between 12 March and 23 June 2020.
Doctors: I have been warned by my doctor yesterday that the specialists (Cardiologue etc) are fully booked and they have a lot of patients coming back after avoiding visits during the confinement period. If you hae regular follow-ups, you need to add 1 or 2 months lead time. I am dur at the cardio in Decembre and will go to reserve my appointment early next week.
Dominating the news are the riots and controververtial behavior of Trump in the USA. I wish we could be spared this saga here in Europe.
