July, like all other months so far this year, flew by. Quite a few things and outings which were planned had to be cancelled due to the virus. But since the lockdown ended we were able to meet up with a restrained number of friends, go to bars and restaurants whilst respecting social distancing.

No quite normal life but almost as long as you wear a mask

A couple of short trips inside France planned for August unless the apparent relapsing epidemic (the dreaded second wave) prevents us for safety reasons to do so.

At least the weather in our part of the world and France is extremely good and hot at the moment. This makes us appreciate the pool.

I have just decided to extend my detox and therefore non alcohol drinking by one month. Which means that in theory August will be dry. I hope this is worth it at the end.
