From one day to the next everything changes. It is not official, but summer has ended. The tourists are jamming the roads on their way back home and to start work in 2 days time.

This leaves the beaches to ourselves the „locals“. Even if the temperature has dropped a lot in the past 48 hours, it will get back up for September and hopefully October.

The beach restaurants will start closing down one by one though. „Dix Vins Plage“ where we are today (again) will shut operations in 1 week time so today will be the last time for us here this season.
