Internet speed

I was checking, as I regularly do, my internet Connection speed. I just want to make sure I get what I pay for. Obviously when connected directly to the router, the Ethernet connection is the fastest.

I certainly cannot complain about that. The same computer using WIFI and 1 meter away from the router gives complete different figures:

Downloading 142.25 Mbps and Uploading 169.93 Mbps

The same test with my tablet over WIFI in a different room gives yet another reading Which I am quite satisfy with:

Obviously much is due to old and new technology. My tablet is a few months old, my computer is 10 years old.
