The Covid-19 vaccine developed by AstraZeneca and Oxford University is 70% effective on average, and even 90% effective in some cases, which would put it on a par with those of Pfizer-BioNTech or Moderna. These are interim results from large-scale clinical trials in the UK and Brazil, AstraZeneca said in a statement released today.
