Day 25 of the 2nd Confinement

✒︎Emmanuel Macron

I guess the most awaited thing today is the scheduled allocation from the President later this evening at 8pm. I personally hope that the 1km radius limit will be lifted. After-all it is not the distance which is the issue but where you go. My point of view in any case.

Fingers crossed

Aude

Departement

✒︎Incidence rate

The pleasing figure of 88,01 in the Aude Departement is a quarter of what it was a fortnight ago. Hopefully this is the result of the current confinement.

✑ The rubbish which is being reported is incredible

America has hit the mute on Donald Trump, as the outgoing president has only spoken an average of 454 words a day since losing.

The Washington Post reported, “Since Election Day, he has spoken 8,143 words over 18 days through Saturday, according to Factba.se, a website which tracks all of his utterances and movements. On average, in 2020, he spoke 8,398 words daily, according to Bill Frischling, the website’s owner, but only 454 words per day since Nov. 3. On the last day of the campaign alone, he uttered more than 55,000 words. He averaged about 48 minutes on camera every day in 2020, Frischling said. He has spent about 50 minutes on camera total since Nov. 3.”

Within the constraining limit of the imposed 1km radius, we have decided to go out every day and make the most of it.

The walk yesterday was plesant enough.

Hardly anyone around and a lovely blue sky
