🔹 Unwanted calls
As a rule I do not answer calls from unknown numbers. I check the number on the internet to see if they might have been a threat or nuisance and I block the number in case they were. If they call again, I never know about it. This is important if you know that they are „bad“ numbers.
I have however discovered a fairly new feature on my Apple which will all but eliminate all these robocalls, spam calls ringing my phone (probably available also) on non Apple phones. With the new Silence Unknown Callers feature turned on, the only time your iPhone will ring is if you know the person calling you i.e if the number is in your contact list. If not, it will put the caller straight to your voice mailbox where if it is genuine they can leave a message. As opposed to a blocked number, you get a summary of the calls. You have to have OS13 or higher installed to get this feature. Since yesterday, already 3 unwanted calls were blocked that way.

The spate of bad news about the virus tends to block other news and for instance the fact that 2 days ago the Chinese probe sent to the moon to bring back the first lunar samples in four decades has successfully landed. The Chang’e-5 spacecraft – named after the Chinese moon goddess – landed on the near side of the moon late on Tuesday. If the return journey is successful, China will be only the third country to have retrieved samples from the moon, following the US and Soviet Union in the 60s and 70s.
