As every evening, Santé Publique France provides the figures relating to the Covid-19 epidemic in the Aude and Pyrénées-Orientales. What you need to know.
This Monday in Aude, 71 Covid patients were hospitalised, i.e. 3 less than the day before, including 12 in intensive care (-1). One additional death has been recorded in the last 24 hours, bringing the total to 402 deaths in the department since the beginning of the epidemic. The incidence rate continues to fall, reaching 75.7 cases per 100,000 people in the week from 11 to 17 September.
Far from the alert threshold
In the Pyrénées-Orientales, 97 Covid patients were hospitalised (+1), including 17 in intensive care (stable figure). As in the Aude, one death has been noted in the last 24 hours, bringing the total to 404 Covid deaths since the beginning of the epidemic in the 66. The incidence rate was 59.5 on Monday evening, far from the alert threshold set at 200.
In France, 8,845 Covid patients were hospitalised (-42), including 1,805 in intensive care (-27). 91 additional deaths were recorded, bringing the total to 89,255 deaths since the beginning of the epidemic. The incidence rate is 75.5.

21/09: Tunisia now recommends a ten-day self-isolation for vaccinated people. Unvaccinated people must undergo a 10-day quarantine in a containment centre.
