CONTAMINATIONS
On Saturday 22 January, 389,320 infections were recorded in 24 hours.
HOSPITALISATION
In hospital, the number of Covid patients was 28,515 on Saturday, compared to 28,457 yesterday. 1,994 new patients have been admitted in the last 24 hours.
Critical care services counted 3,746 Covid-19 patients on Saturday (with 214 new admissions), compared to 3,792 on Friday.
DEATHS
In 24 hours, 167 people have died in hospital from Covid-19, bringing the total death toll to 128,514 (including hospitals and nursing homes) since the beginning of the epidemic.
VACCINATION
Since the beginning of the vaccination campaign in France, 53,802,773 people have received at least one injection (i.e. 79.8% of the total population) and 52,469,458 people have received the full vaccination schedule (77.8% of the total population).
