It is not difficult to understand why the imposing Cathedral of Albi in the French Occitanie region is probably the most visited cathedral in the world.

It has retained all of its splendour and colours over the centuries which is in real contrast with the unusual brick building itself.

We had a bit of spare time in the town yesterday and took the opportunity to visit it.
