Fishing for the news

First job in the morning is to read the headlines from different newspapers and news outlets from home and abroad.

I have set up my computer to open automatically all the above web pages, one per tab. Of course there is much duplication but also each country has usually different leading stories unless of course it is about Prince Philipp passing away.

I also check local papers from current and past locations. Sometimes friend’s names pop up.

ANd of course I get a variety of email information like, my latest discovery, the Daily Pnut

Pronounced Peanut

There are also, more often than not, contradictions from one paper to the other.

The difficult part is trying to double check the information.

It does keep you busy
