Irish adventures III

Despite an extremely comfortable bed I am awake fairly sharp. I am in no real rush this morning and the heavy rain outside does not entice me to go out immediately.

There is only one thing to do

Go for a full Irish breakfast

That should keep me going for a few hours

Despite the weather, the short drive to the west coast town of Kilrush is pleasant enough and we arrive on the dot of 12 in the pub / B&B which will be our base for the next couple of nights.

The Guinness is smooth and tasty. Both pints in fact.

Time to go for a walk in the drizzle and wind

After which a nice cup of tea and scone are more than welcome

Diner is at another pub round the corner
